Explore Cordillera Ranch Properties
From Working Ranch to Golfing Community
Once a working ranch, this neighborhood of more than 1,500 acres is home to several special groupings of unique properties patterned after the rustic lodges and Western ranch buildings of the original Fenno Ranch. Perched above Squaw Creek, The Ranch is comprised of high alpine meadows and forested slopes, and to protect the integrity of the environment, the native landscaping is predominantly undisturbed by the building process.
The Ranch is covered with a magnificent combination of aspen and evergreen trees, and many of the properties feature views to the snow-capped peaks of the Sawatch Range. The design concept of the neighborhood respects the area's regional heritage, is heavily influenced by the surrounding mountains, and construction consists mainly of stone and timbers in order to harmonize well with the atmosphere.
Located within the Ranch is Cordillera's Mountain Course. It is the exquisitely designed masterpiece of Hale Irwin, three-time US Open Champion and 1998 Senior US Open Champion. The course is a par 72 and has been honored in Golf Magazine: "Silver Medal for America's Best Resorts," "Top 100 You Can Play" and Top 10 You Can Play."
Cordillera Ranch Communities
Greyhawk
One of the latest enclave projects is Greyhawk. This development is comprised of 15 hand-crafted timber frame homes that offer two spacious floor plans. The exterior features a wrap-around porch and expansive decks. The interior has a lovely open floor plan with main floor living and a lower level family room and additional bedrooms. Greyhawk is located on the 9th Fairway of the Mountain Course and just down the road from TimberHearth Grill.
Bentgrass
One of the first enclaves on the Ranch, this well-designed community is very popular. Its classic floor plan consists of 4 bedrooms, 4 and 1/2 bathrooms, living room and a family room with a 5th bedroom option. Bentgrass homes are very close to the Clubhouse of the Mountain Course. The homes are situated on several short cul-de-sac streets. Bentgrass is perched above the golf course and creates fantastic southern exposure and incredible views.
Cimarron
The Cimarron development is just beyond Bentgrass but features a different design and ambiance. These properties are 12 post and beam homes nestled near the trees. Due to Cimarron's location, you have the option of looking toward the beautiful aspen trees and the golf course or to the mountain range.
Club Cottages
The goal of this enclave was to build a smaller-style home with a cottage feel, hence the name "Club Cottages." These are single-family homes designed in clusters to allow for optimal privacy and views. Located at the entrance to the Clubhouse and TimberHearth Grille, its proximity to the golf course is unbeatable!
Bearcat
Bearcat is an extensive enclave offering a wide variety of locations and views. The 40 homes of Bearcat—which are placed around the 4th, 5th, and 6th holes of the Mountain Course—offer large living areas, high ceilings and patios and decks with views of Gore Range, Sawatch Ranges and more!
Custom Homes
There are numerous neighborhoods throughout the Ranch that offer spectacular homes. One such neighborhood is Bearden Meadows, which consists of approximately 320 acres, with mature aspen and pine trees, gentle ridges and large meadows. As a legacy to its vivid history as a homestead in the early 1900s, this area boasts one- and two-acre home sites with elegant custom-built single-family homes.
Resort-Style Amenities at The Trailhead
As one of the many amenities of Cordillera, a great place for residents of all ages is The Trailhead. A two-story log structure, The Trailhead is a wonderful community gathering place that boasts a swimming pool and a children’s center featuring organized activities year-round.
A fly-fishing pond, Nordic Center, the 18-hole Hale Irwin designed Mountain Course and 21 miles of hiking and winter sports trails invite outdoor visits, while TimberHearth Grille welcomes you indoors for casual dining.
One of the Trailhead's youth programs is Club Cordy, an organization offering games, crafts, learning and recreation activities with an emphasis on discovery and adventure. For more information about The Trailhead or any other amenity in Cordillera, please contact us.
We Can't Forget Championship Golfing
All four of the Cordillera courses are designed to accommodate serious golfers looking for competition and challenge, as well as casual golfers just out for a good time.
How to Get There
You access the Ranch by staying on the main Cordillera Road from Route 6. You will pass the Divide neighborhood on the left and keep going until the road makes a sharp curve to the right and continues up the mountain. Cars are not the only ones making their way through Cordillera. Elk and deer are often spotted crossing the street and grazing along the side. A bear has even made its way along this road!
Once you arrive at the top of this mountain, a friendly security guard will be waiting to greet you. As an owner, you will have direct access into the Ranch.
As you continue on, you will be see beautiful enclave homes on both your left and right along with the stunning mountain course. In the winter, the golf course transforms into a spectacular cross country course. During the summer months, you will find homeowners and guests enjoying the many trails Cordillera has designed. Further along you will see The Trailhead amenity center.
When Fenno Road ends, you will be entering the Summit neighborhood. Here you will have access to an extensive work-out facility including an indoor pool. You will also find original homesteads from many years ago!
