For nine years has been considered one of the top restaurants in Vail, known for their spectacular wine list and a professional service staff dedicated to hospitality . . . .
Opened in 2000, Larkspur features the modern technique and preparation of American classics. An evolution in refinement, Chef /Owner Thomas Salamunovich approaches his craft in the same manner he approaches his guests: with a fresh eye and a nurturing spirit. With 10,000 square feet of restaurant space, distinctly different areas have been created to accommodate the preference of all patrons. The restaurant is warm and polished with an open kitchen, massive hearth, and a 5,000 bottle transparent wine cellar, serving as the centerpiece of the main dining room.
At Larkspur, we specialize in couture cuisine that’s both sophisticated and approachable. Our new American fare is rooted in tradition, but never typical. Because Larkspur is an ingredient-driven restaurant, our menus change weekly, reflecting the bounty of the season and the creativity of our chefs.
Wine
The Larkspur wine room is more than 7,500-bottles strong with over 675 different labels. Though there’s a little of everything in the mix, we place an emphasis on the New World. Our sommeliers prefer balanced wines with personality, and are happy to make either traditional or racy recommendations. In addition to our extensive wine list, we offer wine by the glass in two sizes and a variety of half bottles giving diners the freedom to explore pairings by the course.

Larkspur's Bar Menu is available from 6:00pm until close. Our menu and prices can vary from day to day as we add specials and adjust our offerings based on what ingredients are freshest and readily available.

1. Take exit number 176, towards VAIL.
2. Enter next roundabout and take 4th exit onto VAIL RD.
3. Enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto S FRONTAGE RD E.
4. Turn RIGHT onto VAIL VALLEY DR., just past the main Vail parking structure.
5. Larkspur Restaurant is in the Golden Peak building, which will be the large,
yellow building on your right as you approach the Golden Peak ski area.
6. Pull into the Golden Peak building parking lot
to use our convenient valet parking service.
